How it works
Cubic feet = Length × Width × (Thickness ÷ 12) · Cubic yards = Cubic feet ÷ 27 · Cost = Cubic yards × price per yard. An 80-lb bag yields ~0.6 cu ft.
Example
A 10 × 10 ft pad at 4 in is about 1.23 cubic yards — roughly $185 at $150/yard.
Frequently asked questions
- Bags or ready-mix?
- Bags suit small jobs; over ~1 cubic yard, ready-mix delivery is usually cheaper. Add ~10% for waste.
